NV Interactive partnered with BBC to create a suite of Windows 8 apps for some of their most iconic brands.
Our goal was to push the boundaries of Windows 8 and the Metro design language, crafting apps that were both innovative and user-friendly.
The result is a suite of thoughtfully crafted apps that align with the quality and excellence BBC is known for.
BBC Earth Wonders
A stunning showcase of BBC natural history content from series like Planet Earth, Frozen Planet, and Life, featuring images and HD video from renowned natural history photographers.
Great looking app, and ideal for the kids school research!
Top Gear — The Cool Wall
Choose from over 300 cars to create your own Cool Wall or view the original Top Gear Cool Wall used on the show. The Cool Wall was also a showcase of what could be done using HTML and JS in the Windows 8 app environment.
If there was a ‘Cool Wall’ for apps this would be in the Sub Zero section!
BBC Good Food
We reimagined the BBC Good Food mobile app, crafting an intuitive and engaging experience.
Fast and fluid – no more laborious searching the index at the back of my old cook books looking for recipes now!
